EH&S (Environmental, Health & Safety) issues have always been at the heart of Bracchi’s corporate mission. This year we decided to celebrate the ‚World Day for Safety and Health at Work‘ on 28 April 2024, with a whole week of meetings and events.

On 23 April, at our Hub in Castrezzato (BS), we organised a workshop aimed at exploring the theme raised this year by the International Labour Organisation regarding the impact of climate change on health and safety objectives in the workplace.

Umberto Ferretti, CEO, opened the session by presenting Bracchi’s decarbonisation plan. Manuel Brumana, QHSE manager, illustrated Bracchi’s recent EH&S policy, with a focus on the importance of near misses.

Professor Andrea Biancardi, lecturer in Sustainability, Energy Transition and Geopolitics at SDA Bocconi, delved into the topic of the impacts of climate change on health and safety in the workplace.

During the week, numerous meetings were held at the various Bracchi hubs, both in Italy and abroad, with the aim of raising awareness among the entire workforce on the importance of safety issues.

Events also include the awarding of the most virtuous HUBs and the presentation of the new corporate campaign ‚ZERO ACCIDENTS, MISSION POSSIBLE‘, which includes the installation of a number of information panels in all of the group’s locations.
